CEDAR CITY, Utah (KUTV) — A man in his 70s died after being struck by a vehicle in a grocery store parking lot at approximately noon on Friday.
According to the Cedar City Police Department, the incident occurred in the Smith's parking lot. Emergency responders arrived on the scene and performed CPR, but the victim succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities described the victim as a male in his 70s. His identity has not been released pending family notification.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, and no charges have been filed. Police stated that the circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
