One Fatality in South Salt Lake Motorcycle Crash
SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah — A motorcycle crash resulted in one death in South Salt Lake on Tuesday afternoon.
Police reported that a Mazda and a motorcycle collided at 3300 South and 200 East at approximately 3:45 p.m. The motorcycle rider succumbed to injuries at the scene, while the Mazda's driver was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities have closed 3300 South in both directions between State Street and 300 East as they investigate the incident. The roadway is expected to remain closed for several hours; drivers are advised to seek alternate routes.
