PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (WCHS) — A 37-year-old man was arrested Monday after leaving four juveniles at the scene of a crash in Pike County.
Ryan Wilson faces multiple charges, including wanton endangerment, leaving the scene of an accident, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, and endangering the welfare of a minor, according to the West Virginia State Police.
Authorities responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on South River Road, where they found the four juvenile passengers. Wilson allegedly fled the scene, abandoning the minors.
Witnesses reported that one of the juveniles exited the vehicle and sought help at a nearby business to call 911. Wilson was located approximately 1.5 miles from the crash site, according to police reports.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no further details about the incident have been released.
