Crash investigation underway in North Reading
NORTH READING, Mass. —
A late-night crash involving two vehicles occurred Saturday in North Reading, prompting a response from local police and firefighters.
Authorities reported that officers from Andover and North Reading were on the scene, where one car sustained extensive damage near a pizza shop sign at the intersection of North and Main Streets.
A second vehicle was found further down the road with deployed airbags.
The status of the drivers and any passengers remains unclear.
The Middlesex District Attorney's Office is overseeing the investigation into the incident.
