Motor Vehicle Collision Injures One Near Vanceboro, NC
CRAVEN COUNTY, NC – A head-on collision between a GMC 2500 pickup truck and a golf cart occurred on U.S. 17 Bypass near Maul Swamp Road on Tuesday, October 21.
According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, Joshua Wilder, 40, of Greenville, was traveling northbound when his vehicle crashed into the southbound golf cart operated by Kenneth Esola, 64, of Vanceboro.
Esola was ejected from the golf cart and sustained life-threatening injuries. He was transported to ECU Health in Greenville for emergency medical treatment.
