Houma Man Killed in Head-On Crash in Terrebonne Parish
TERREBONNE PARISH, La. — A head-on collision on Bayou Gardens Boulevard Extension resulted in the death of a 58-year-old Houma man on Friday evening.
The accident occurred just before 5 p.m. near Louisiana Highway 600. According to Louisiana State Police, Timothy Brewer, driving a Kia Optima westbound, crossed the centerline into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a Honda CR-V.
Brewer sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Honda suffered moderate injuries and was transported to an out-of-area hospital for treatment.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
