
Homer Man Dies in Single-Vehicle Crash
Charles Moore, 60, was the sole occupant in the car at the time of the accident.

A single-vehicle crash in Homer claimed the life of 60-year-old Charles Moore early Saturday morning, April 23. According to an Alaska State Troopers press release, Moore was driving east on East End Road when the incident occurred shortly after 12:40 a.m. Troopers reported he was pronounced dead at the scene and was the only person in the vehicle. Preliminary findings indicated that Moore was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Authorities have notified next of kin, and an investigation into the circumstances of the accident is ongoing.
