GREENVILLE, Pitt County — A 71-year-old woman died following a crash Thursday morning at NC 33 and L.T. Hardee Road.
According to the Greenville Police Department, officers responded to the scene at approximately 11:15 a.m.
Investigators determined that a vehicle traveling east on NC 33 collided with a car driven by Sally Yeagley, who was pulling out from L.T. Hardee Road.
Yeagley was transported to a local hospital but was later pronounced dead. The driver of the other vehicle and a passenger in Yeagley's car sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were also taken to the hospital.
Authorities confirmed that no charges will be filed in connection with the incident.
