MIDDLETOWN — A multi-vehicle collision occurred on Route 35 near the intersection with Kings Highway in Middletown, according to local authorities.
The crash, involving three vehicles, blocked two southbound lanes at approximately 3:45 p.m.
Emergency responders from the Middletown Township Fire Department and MONOC paramedics are on the scene, providing medical aid.
At least one individual sustained injuries; however, no fatalities have been reported at this time.
Authorities have implemented lane closures and are advising motorists to seek alternate routes to avoid significant delays.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
