A head-on collision in Sandwich, Massachusetts, Tuesday night left one man dead and three others injured.
At approximately 8:55 p.m., authorities responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash on Farmersville Road. According to police, a 2011 Toyota Prius traveling west struck a 2017 Toyota RAV4 heading east.
The male driver of the Prius suffered critical injuries and was transported to Cape Cod Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Three occupants of the RAV4 were also taken to the hospital with injuries considered non-life-threatening.
Both vehicles sustained extensive damage. The incident is under investigation, and no further details about the cause of the crash have been released.
