COLUMBUS, Ohio — A fatal crash occurred on October 7 in Norwich Township, prompting an investigation by the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.
According to Sheriff Dallas Baldwin, a silver 2006 Kia Spectra lost control while traveling northwest on Feder Road during rain conditions. The vehicle spun into the southeast lane, where it was struck on the passenger side by a gray 2025 Toyota Tacoma.
Emergency responders from Norwich Township arrived at the scene. The driver of the Tacoma sustained injuries and was transported to Doctors Hospital in stable condition. The driver of the Kia was pronounced dead at the scene by Norwich Township Engine 82 at 4:31 p.m. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.
