Teen Driver Dies in Crash in Tuscaloosa County.

An 18-year-old driver was killed in a crash on June 3, 2026, in Tuscaloosa County, according to state troopers.

The incident occurred at 10:42 p.m. on Yellow Creek Road near Alabama Highway 69, approximately 14 miles north of Northport, as reported by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA). Authorities stated the driver was operating a 2003 Silverado pickup when the vehicle veered off the roadway and overturned upon re-entering.

The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was and at the scene. The name of the deceased has not been released.

Troopers with ALEA's Highway Patrol Division are investigating the crash further.
