Two Dead in Motorcycle-SUV Collision on US-10 in Lake County
LAKE COUNTY, Mich. — Two individuals lost their lives in a motorcycle crash involving an SUV on US-10 near Forman Road in Yates Township on Sunday at approximately 7:40 p.m., according to the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities reported that the motorcycle, traveling eastbound on US-10, collided with an SUV that was making a left turn to enter a private residence. The motorcycle operator, a 53-year-old man, and his passenger, a 54-year-old woman, both from Evart, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The SUV driver, a 54-year-old man from Chase, sustained no major injuries. Emergency services responded promptly, and the situation remains under investigation.
