BEDFORD, NH — A crash at the Bedford Toll Plaza on the Everett Turnpike seriously injured actor Eugene Mirman on Tuesday afternoon.

New Hampshire State Police were dispatched to the scene at approximately 2:41 p.m. after reports indicated a vehicle had caught fire with someone trapped inside. The involved vehicle was identified as a 2026 Lucid Gravity.

Witnesses, including a state trooper, assisted in extracting Mirman from the burning . The actor's publicist confirmed he was injured in the incident and is presently in recovery.

Mirman shared an update on social media, expressing gratitude towards those who rescued him and the hospital staff. He humorously remarked on his lack of phone access and acknowledged the warm messages from friends.

Traffic was significantly impacted on the Everett Turnpike due to the accident. The Bedford Toll Plaza has a noted history of serious crashes, with this incident occurring just two days after another collision at the same site.
