An elderly Pettis County man was injured in a UTV crash in Morgan County on Monday evening.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported the incident occurred at 7:15 p.m. on MO-DD, near MO-KK. According to authorities, the driver was operating a 2016 John Deere XUV865R when the vehicle left the roadway and overturned onto its right side.
The 82-year-old Smithton resident sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to the University of Missouri hospital. MSHP noted that the man was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
