Pearl City Rollover Crash Closes Intersection
PEARL CITY, HI — An early morning rollover crash at the intersection of Moanalua Road and Hoomalu Street temporarily closed the area on October 10, 2023.
Firefighters responded to the scene and rescued one individual trapped inside the vehicle. Authorities confirmed that there were no fatalities reported.
Emergency Medical Services transported the injured person to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
According to the Honolulu Police Department, the crash involved a single vehicle and occurred at approximately 5:41 a.m.
The intersection remained closed for several hours as investigators assessed the scene and cleared debris. Towing services were also on-site to remove the vehicle.
Authorities have not yet released further details about the cause of the crash.
