CREEK COUNTY, Okla. (KOKH) — A Depew woman died following a single-vehicle crash on Hwy 66 on Aug. 1.
Around 10:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to an accident near South 401st W. Ave. Authorities said 28-year-old Shania Shelton was traveling westbound when her vehicle crossed the center line and left the roadway.
Shelton's vehicle struck a culvert after driving through a ditch and rolled before coming to a stop. She was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The cause of the vehicle's deviation from the roadway remains under investigation.
