ENID, Okla. (KOKH) — A serious crash closed all northbound lanes of I-35 near the Enid exit early Friday morning.
According to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, the closure affected traffic at US-412 in Noble County. Motorists were diverted to westbound US-412.
Authorities said the Oklahoma Highway Patrol closed the northbound lanes to facilitate the landing of a medical helicopter. As of now, confirmed details on injuries have not been released.
The lane closures lasted several hours, with northbound traffic reopening shortly before 8 a.m. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
