DEFOREST (WKOW) — A DeForest woman was killed in a crash on I-90 in Windsor on March 17.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, the incident occurred around 6:50 a.m. in the southbound lanes near mile marker 129. A semitruck and a car were involved in the collision.
The Dane County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed that 32-year-old Victoria J. Biehl of DeForest was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead. A preliminary forensic examination indicated she succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.
All southbound lanes remained closed for approximately three hours as traffic was rerouted. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, with authorities from the Wisconsin State Patrol currently examining the scene.
