Collision on I-35 Leaves Two Injured in Denton
DENTON, TX — A multi-vehicle collision on I-35 near Main Street occurred around 3:15 p.m. on October 5, injuring two individuals.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash involved three vehicles, with one sustaining significant damage. Emergency responders from the Denton Fire Department provided medical assistance on the scene.
Authorities reported that two occupants were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The southbound lanes of I-35 were temporarily closed for approximately 45 minutes during the investigation and cleanup.
No fatalities were reported, and the cause of the accident is under investigation. Tow trucks were called to remove the damaged vehicles from the highway.
