ROWLETT, TX — A 19-year-old male was shot and injured in a vehicle crash in the 8200 block of Schrade Road on Sunday night at 8:59 p.m.
According to Rowlett Police, the victim suffered a gunshot wound to the neck while driving, leading to a rollover crash into a front yard. Emergency responders transported the victim to Medical City Plano; his condition remains unknown.
Authorities reported that a 15-year-old male suspect fled the scene but was subsequently detained by officers. A female passenger in the vehicle was also taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
