LYNN, MA — A 30-year-old man died Monday night after being struck by a pickup truck while riding his bicycle.
The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Broad Street and Silsbee Street, according to the Essex County District Attorney's Office. A 2025 Honda Ridgeline was involved in the collision.
Emergency responders transported the cyclist to Salem Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities are withholding his identity pending family notification.
The DA's office has not confirmed if charges will be filed in the case. Eyewitnesses reported that the truck remained at the scene while police conducted their investigation.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
