A multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 95 in New York on October 10 resulted in two fatalities and multiple injuries, authorities said.
The crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes near Exit 14, involving four vehicles including two passenger cars and a delivery truck. First responders from the New York State Police and local fire departments arrived promptly to provide medical assistance.
Two individuals, both male drivers aged 34 and 41, were pronounced dead at the scene. Three other occupants sustained varying injuries and were transported to local hospitals.
The northbound lanes of I-95 were closed for approximately three hours as the scene was investigated and cleared. Authorities stated that an investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
