Crash between motorcycle and vehicle ignites fire but results in no injuries, deputies report.

AMANDAVILLE, W.Va. (WCHS) — A vehicle and motorcycle collision on Saturday afternoon resulted in a fire, according to deputies.

The crash occurred shortly after 2 p.m. at the intersection of Cartland Lane and MacCorkle Avenue, as reported by Metro 911.

Deputies with the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office confirmed no injuries were reported. The motorcycle rider was able to walk away from the scene, and a female driver and an infant in the vehicle were also unharmed.

Both the vehicle and motorcycle became fully engulfed in flames; however, all individuals were safely evacuated before firefighters arrived. The fires were extinguished shortly before 2:30 p.m.
