CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — Two people were hospitalized after a vehicle flipped and ignited a brush fire Tuesday on Newmans Branch Road.
The incident occurred just south of Pritchard Road, prompting an immediate response from the Cabell County Sheriff's Office, which closed the roadway in that area. The vehicle, following the crash, struck a power pole, sparking the fire.
Both occupants sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities confirmed that Newmans Branch Road will remain closed until utility crews clear the area.
