Authorities on July 30 identified the driver killed in a July 28 three-vehicle crash on U.S. 127 near Eaton Road in Milford Township.
According to the Butler County Coroner's Office, Christine Rhoads-Larsen, 44, died at the scene. The office listed her preliminary cause of death as blunt trauma to the head and neck and the preliminary manner as an accident.
Deputies were called just after 7:30 p.m. July 28. According to the Butler County Sheriff's Office, a silver Toyota failed to yield to a black SUV driven by Rhoads-Larsen traveling south on U.S. 127, colliding with it. The SUV then entered the northbound lane and struck a silver F-250 truck pulling a trailer.
Authorities said the F-250's driver and passenger had minor injuries and were transported to the University of Cincinnati West Chester Hospital. The Toyota's driver was evaluated at the scene and reported no injuries.
The Sheriff's Office Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the crash.
