Columbia Woman Injured in Callaway County Crash
A Columbia woman sustained moderate injuries Saturday evening in a single-vehicle crash in Callaway County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred around 6 p.m. on Route WW, east of County Road 259. Authorities reported that a 2002 Ford Windstar was traveling eastbound when the driver veered off the right side of the roadway, striking a ditch, a culvert, and a tree.
The 32-year-old driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident. She was transported to University Hospital in Columbia by Callaway County EMS.
The vehicle was totaled and subsequently removed from the scene by I-70 Towing. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
