Multiple-Vehicle Collision on Highway 280 Leaves One Injured
SAN JOSE, CA — A multi-vehicle collision occurred on Highway 280 northbound near the 17th Street exit at 2:41 p.m. on October 5.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved three vehicles. One person sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment. No fatalities were reported.
Emergency response teams, including the San Jose Fire Department and CHP, arrived promptly to manage the scene. Authorities closed two lanes for approximately 45 minutes to facilitate the investigation and the safe removal of the vehicles involved.
Witnesses reported chaotic scenes as first responders worked to clear the area. As of now, the cause of the collision is under investigation.
