Child in critical condition following rollover crash caused by sibling driving without permission.

FILLMORE, Utah (KUTV) — A child was critically injured in a crash involving four siblings north of Fillmore on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Millard County Sheriff's Office, the siblings, all under the age of 14, were in a vehicle that rolled over after reportedly taking it without parental permission. One child sustained critical injuries and was flown to a hospital in northern Utah for advanced medical care, while the others suffered minor injuries.

Emergency responders, including Deputies, EMTs, and Fillmore Fire & Rescue personnel, arrived at the scene and noted that none of the children were wearing seat belts.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the injured juvenile and their family,” the sheriff's office stated. “We extend our appreciation to all first responders who worked together to provide aid at the scene.”

The incident is currently under investigation.
