SANDY, Utah (KUTV) — A vehicle crashed into a building following a collision on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Sandy Police Department.
At approximately 3 p.m., officers responded to the incident near 8500 S. 700 E. Authorities stated that one vehicle failed to yield while turning, resulting in a collision with another vehicle. Subsequently, one of the vehicles lost control and struck the building.
No occupants were inside the building at the time of the crash. The driver involved sustained only minor injuries, and no individuals required hospital transport. Authorities reported no signs of impairment.
The investigation is ongoing as officials continue to gather details regarding the circumstances of the incident.
