Child Injured in Beechmont Semi-Truck Crash
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A child was hospitalized after a semi-truck collided with an SUV Saturday afternoon in the Beechmont neighborhood.
According to Louisville Metro Police, officers responded to reports of the crash around 2 p.m. at the intersection of W. Tenny Avenue and S. 3rd Street.
Authorities confirmed that one child sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The Louisville Metro Police Department's 4th Division will investigate the incident. Further details about the vehicles involved or any road closures were not immediately available.
