Two-Vehicle Collision at Intersection Leads to Multiple Injuries in South Carolina
NORTH CHARLESTON, SC — A collision between two vehicles occurred at the intersection of Rivers Avenue and Ashley Phosphate Road at approximately 2:41 p.m. on Thursday.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the vehicles involved were a sedan and an SUV, which ran off opposite sides of the road following the impact. Emergency responders from the Charleston County Fire Department and local police arrived at the scene shortly after the incident.
Authorities reported that three individuals sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for medical evaluation. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed.
Emergency crews temporarily closed two lanes of Rivers Avenue to facilitate the response and clear the wreckage. Tow services were called to remove the damaged vehicles from the scene.
