LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A chain-reaction crash involving eight vehicles, including a semi-tractor/trailer, occurred on southbound I-15, just north of I-215, at 10:08 a.m.
The Nevada Highway Patrol reported a multiple-vehicle personal injury incident, prompting multiple EMS units to respond. Two individuals, including the driver of the semi-tractor, were transported for medical treatment.
Several travel lanes remain closed as authorities conduct their investigation, although the No. 1 lane is expected to stay open. Access from the collector-distributor on southbound Russell to both I-215 and I-15 is currently shut off.
Tow trucks have cleared the scene, and all freeway lanes have since reopened, according to authorities.
