Car crashes into Brookline building following reported hit-and-run incident
BROOKLINE, Mass. —
A vehicle struck a building in Brookline after a reported hit-and-run on Tuesday at approximately 8 p.m., according to police.
The collision occurred at the intersection of High Street and Walnut Street after a 911 call reported the incident.
Authorities located both vehicles involved; however, it remains unclear if there were any injuries.
Images from the scene displayed significant damage to the front and side of one car, both of which were towed away.
Charges have not been confirmed as part of the ongoing investigation.
Police urged drivers to avoid the area while authorities continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
