MERRIMACK, N.H. — A bicyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a minivan on Route 101A near Boston Post Road at approximately 11:20 a.m. Monday.
Authorities reported that a 93-year-old driver from Nashua was behind the wheel of the Honda Odyssey minivan when the incident occurred. The 66-year-old cyclist, also from Nashua, was initially taken to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center for treatment and later transferred to a Boston hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
Merrimack police and firefighters responded promptly to the scene. An investigation is underway, and officials are asking anyone with information to contact Officer Richard Rodrigues or Officer Amanda Preston at 603-424-3774.
