HONOLULU (Island News) – A 35-year-old man has been charged following a vehicle collision on Alakea St. on April 11, 2026, according to the Honolulu Police Department (HPD).
Initially classified as Attempted Murder, the charge was downgraded to Negligent Injury in the First Degree after review by the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney. The suspect, Anthony Corpuz, has a bail set at $100,000.
In a separate incident on Kuwili St. in Kalihi, police confirmed ongoing investigations. Authorities reported that three individuals were hospitalized as a result of the collisions.
