SEQUOYAH COUNTY, Okla. (KOKH) — An Arkansas man died in a crash in Sequoyah County on August 1.
Around 9:45 p.m., emergency crews responded to the accident at E 1000 and N. 4632.
According to authorities, 23-year-old Adam Chandler was driving eastbound on E. 1000 at a high rate of speed when he lost control.
The vehicle veered off the roadway, and Chandler overcorrected to the right, colliding with a tree.
Chandler succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
