Plane Crash Investigation Underway in Florida
(LEX 18) — The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is investigating a plane crash that occurred Sunday near Williston, Florida, after the aircraft departed Lebanon, Kentucky.
The Levy County Sheriff's Office confirmed fatalities at the crash site, located one mile northwest of Williston Regional Airport. The aircraft, a Beech 58P, was en route from Lebanon Springfield-George Hoerter Field, departing at approximately 1:20 p.m. It was scheduled to arrive at Williston Municipal Airport at around 4:10 p.m.
