JACKSON, Miss. — The Mississippi Court of Appeals denied a rehearing for Beth Ann White, convicted in a fatal drunken driving incident on November 2021.

According to court records, White, 53, was found guilty in 2024 of causing the deaths of 39-year-old Allison Conaway and her 6-month-old son, Alex, after her vehicle collided with theirs at the intersection of Highway 18 and Springridge Road. Conaway’s two daughters sustained serious injuries.

Authorities confirmed that White’s blood alcohol content was over three times the legal limit at the time of the crash, and she tested positive for drugs. The court sentenced her to 100 years in prison.

In February, the appeals court upheld four aggravated DUI convictions but dismissed a repeat offender charge due to a late filing beyond the two-year statute of limitations.
