HELENA — A fatal crash occurred Thursday on U.S. Highway 12 in Powell County, between Elliston and Avon, at 2:13 p.m.
The incident involved multiple vehicles and resulted in two fatalities. According to the Montana Highway Patrol, both lanes were temporarily closed but have since reopened.
