KINGSTON, Mass. —
A 20-year-old man died in a crash on Route 3 in Kingston early Sunday morning.
The Massachusetts State Police responded to a report of a single-car accident just before 12:30 a.m. on the northbound lane near Exit 17.
Upon arrival, troopers and the Kingston Fire Department found a damaged exit sign and skid marks leading into the woods.
Rescue personnel located a white Mercedes-Benz with its taillights visible. The driver, identified as Benjamin Ruley of Plymouth, sustained serious injuries.
Ruley was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing, with assistance from the Kingston Police Department.
