CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — A three-car crash on northbound Interstate 95 caused significant delays near Willis Road at mile marker 65.5 around noon on Friday.
According to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), all northbound lanes are currently alternating closures, while the south left shoulder is also affected. Traffic was backed up for approximately five miles in the area.
State police confirmed that all three drivers involved were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities encouraged drivers to find alternate routes as crews worked to clear the scene and reopen all lanes, which occurred just before 2 p.m.
