SUFFOLK, Va. — A single-vehicle crash on Whaleyville Boulevard early Monday morning resulted in one fatality, according to Suffolk Police.
The collision occurred around 3:37 a.m. in the 4700 Block of Whaleyville Boulevard, where officers discovered the deceased individual at the scene. The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
As a result of the incident, the 4700 Block of Whaleyville Boulevard is currently closed to traffic and will remain closed for an extended period, authorities reported.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing, according to Suffolk Police.
