DES MOINES, Iowa — A crash on Interstate 235 hindered the morning commute on October 6.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:45 a.m. in the westbound lanes near Guthrie Avenue, causing significant traffic delays. Vehicles were backed up for several miles.
According to authorities, there were no initial reports of injuries. Emergency responders cleared the scene by 8:30 a.m. and traffic resumed its normal flow shortly thereafter. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
