Man Killed in St. Paul Crash on Sunday Evening
ST. PAUL, MN — A man died following a car crash at Arlington Avenue West and Dale Street North around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday.
According to St. Paul Police, a silver sedan was traveling westbound on Arlington Avenue at a high rate of speed when it ran a red light and collided with a black SUV. The impact pushed the SUV approximately 40 yards.
Emergency responders extricated the driver of the SUV, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the sedan sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Regions Hospital.
Authorities indicated that alcohol is suspected to be a contributing factor in the crash. The investigation is ongoing, and no further details have been released.
