MINNEAPOLIS, MN—Authorities are searching for the driver involved in a hit-and-run that critically injured a woman early Sunday morning.

The incident occurred at 3:09 a.m. in the 1600 block of Marshall Street Northeast. Officers arrived to find a woman in her 20s suffering from potentially life-threatening injuries. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

According to police, the woman was crossing Marshall Street while carrying a bag of food when she was struck by a dark-colored sedan traveling at a high speed. The vehicle fled the scene.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains active.
