WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS – A one-vehicle crash resulted in the death of a 70-year-old woman from Martinsdale early Monday morning.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the incident occurred shortly after midnight on Highway 12 at mile marker 48. The woman was driving a Subaru Forester eastbound when the vehicle veered off the right side of the road and rolled multiple times.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities confirmed she was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
Emergency responders arrived promptly, and an investigation into the crash is ongoing, police said.
