KINGSTON, Mass. —
A 20-year-old man died in a single-car crash on Route 3 in Kingston early Sunday morning.
According to the Massachusetts State Police, they received a report of the incident just before 12:30 a.m. in the northbound lane near Exit 17.
Troopers and the Kingston Fire Department observed a damaged exit sign and skid marks leading into nearby woods upon arrival.
Although the vehicle was initially not visible, responders found a white Mercedes-Benz and located the driver, Benjamin Ruley of Plymouth.
Authorities reported that Ruley sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
State Police and the Kingston Police Department are investigating the crash's cause and circumstances.
