Teen killed in crash; driver arrested for DUI.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A 16-year-old was killed in a crash in Darby Township Saturday evening.

The incident occurred on State Route 762, just south of US-62, when a Ford F-250 truck driven by a 17-year-old lost control and struck a guardrail before crashing into a residence, according to the Pickaway County Sheriff's Office. The driver reportedly overcorrected, leading to the loss of control.

Drace Johnson, of Circleville, was transported to Mount Carmel Grove City Hospital and later transferred to Mount Carmel East, where he succumbed to his injuries on September 29.

The juvenile driver was arrested at the scene for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Two other juvenile males were passengers in the truck at the time of the crash.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
