Plane Crash in Alaska Involves Multiple Vehicles, One Fatality
Palmer, Alaska — October 5, 2023 – A plane crash near Palmer resulted in one fatality and multiple injuries on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Alaska State Troopers, the crash occurred at approximately 2:41 p.m. when a small private aircraft went down on the Rich Highway. The incident involved one plane and several vehicles traveling on the highway at the time.
Emergency responders from the Palmer Fire Department and Alaska State Troopers arrived at the crash site shortly after the incident. One individual was confirmed dead, while three others were transported to local hospitals with serious injuries. The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
